Oriental Dance Performer and Instructor

Holly is the epitome of sensuality in motion. Her passion for performing speaks through her sensual, flirtatious and lively shows. Her dancing portrays many nuances of Middle Eastern music. A slow, powerful flickering flame igniting into a dance inferno. Her acute ability for improvisation speaks not only to the eyes but to the heart as you witness a dancer truly in the moment. Colorful flowing fabric, the ringing of finger cymbals, fire, swordplay and interaction with her audience make for a fun and interactive show.
Her dance training began in 2004, having studied with Ansuya, Princess Farhana, Ruby, Bozenka and Artemis Mourat. Studying dance styles and techniques ranging from American Cabaret to Turkish, drum solo work to taqsim.
Holly performs regularly at The Black Olive in Syracuse, NY as well as King David's in Fayetteville, NY.
She has captivated audiences at Rakkasah East, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, weddings, engagement parties, bridal/baby showers, corporate events, galas, holiday parties, new year's eve parties, community festivals, concerts, retirement parties, graduation parties and university society events. She has had the pleasure of dancing with such talented and well known bands as Souk: Middle Eastern Grooves, Aegan Duo and Layal El Sharq band.
Holly loves to share her passion for the art of Middle Eastern dance. She currently teaches weekly classes in Baldwinsville, NY. She tirelessly researches and studies to expand her knowledge of the culture, history, costuming, authenticity of the varied dance styles, language, rhythms and traditions of the Middle East. She networks with others to spread the awareness and appreciation for this art and is happy to exchange links, share your events on her CNY Bellydance page on Facebook, teach a workshop in your area and perform at any haflas or shows that she has been extended an invitation.
